Animal Care

As the capital of Morocco, Rabat is home to a lot of street cats and dogs. Institutions and organizations that work in this field are very limited in number, and the ones that are active are fully packed and work with minimal resources. Volunteers on this program will work together with local volunteers in different activities including, but not limited to, feeding and cleaning the animals, restoring their barns, walking dogs, receiving new dogs and cats to rehabilitate in the center, helping people to choose a pet to take home from the animals being hosted at the center, etc. The animals that volunteers would be responsible for are limited to dogs and cats.

Typical Schedule: This project is available all day long, but working hours range between 3 hours and 6 hours a day. The number of working hours will be agreed on upon arrival to the country with each volunteer.
